Seminar Description
It's a delicate balancing act faced by families the world over: keeping our relatives safe while at the same time respecting their choices. This balancing act is a tough challenge. Families find it difficult. So do service providers. So does government and its institutions. Join us as we discuss how we can ensure our family members are as safe as possible while also honouring their choices - thereby enabling them to live a good life.
"Making Sound Decisions" is the fifth of six two-hour seminars offered as part of the "Elements of a Good Life" series. Feel free to register for just this one evening seminar, several of the seminars, or the complete series.
Who Will Benefit?
Families who are looking to learn more about the concept of supported decision-making, the types of powers of attorney available to you, and how you and your loved one can strike an effective balance between safety and choice.
